I’m Caroline, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with individuals both in South Leicestershire and online.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. It can feel difficult to take that first step, but it can be the beginning of something changing. I offer Gestalt therapy, a way of working that focuses on your present-moment experience, helping you to become more aware of your thoughts, feelings and how you relate to yourself and others.
Alongside my professional training, my own life experiences have shaped the way I work and how I understand the people I meet. I know that life can be complex, and that struggles are often deeply personal. This allows me to meet you with empathy, sensitivity, and without judgement.
I work with people who are facing all kinds of challenges in their lives. Whether you're naviagting a crisis, carrying grief, or living with a persistent sense of unease. You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, or going through experiences such as abuse, trauma, bereavement, divorce, miscarriage, menopause or relationship difficulties
I have a particular interest in working with addiction, and the shame that so often sits alongside it. From my perspective, addiction is not a weakness or a failure, it is often a way of coping with something that feels too much, too painful or too difficult to hold alone. The shame that people carry can run deep, and is often rooted in the earlier experiences such as trauma, loss, or abuse. Over time, this can shape how you see yourself. In our work together, we will begin to bring awareness to these experiences. With compassion and support it becomes possible to loosen the grip of shame and begin to relate to yourself differently.
Through this process, you will begin to feel more grounded which will enable you to navigate life in a way that feels authentic.

Our sessions move at a pace that feels right for you, with space for whatever you bring—whether that feels clear and defined, or uncertain and hard to name.
Flexible length of therapy
There is no set timeframe for therapy. I work in an open-ended way, allowing the process to unfold organically. Some people come for short-term support, while others stay longer as the work deepens.
Working together
Our work is collaborative and centred on you. I’ll be alongside you in making sense of what’s causing distress, supporting the changes you want to see, and strengthening your connection to yourself and others.
